In the final of the County Cup at Kilspindie, Gullane, represented by Darren Howie, Liam Currid, William Ladbrooke and James Chalmers defeated Musselburgh in the aggregate double foursomes format. Although the Musselburgh pair of Cameron Blair and Jack Noon beat Darren and Liam 2 up in the scratch match, William and James beat Danny Gaines and Lewis Hannah by 5 up in the handicap match and the aggregate winning score was therefore 3 & 1 to Gullane. Well done to Gullane and as this was Gullane Convenor Martin Black's final competition before stepping dow, he went out on a high! Thanks Martin for your successful term as Convenor. Our thanks are due to all the staff at Kilspindie for presenting their course in wonderful condition, and to Captain Jim Kinross for presenting the trophy. Photos will appear soon in our "Gallery."
