The 2017 Orders of Merit (OOM) were completed at MD9. Lewis Hannah of Musselburgh won the 1st Prize in the Scratch on a count-back from James Morgan of Longniddry. Lewis Irvine of Craigielaw won the Handicap by 8 points from fellow Craigielaw member Fergus Brown. The two winners received "Shot Scopes" kindly donated by Grant Forrest, former ELJGL Player and now a Professional. The R&A kindly donated prizes which went to the players in 2nd to 4th places in both Scratch and Handicap. More results to follow. East Lothian Junior Golf League News
Congratulations to both Jack McDonald of Haddington GC and to Sam Hall of The Glen GC who tied for the prestigious Lothians Junior Champion of Champions, with scores of 70, over Uphall G.C. Liam Currid, a Gullane Member, has won the Lothians Boys U16s title at The Braids. Sam Hall, a Glen Member, lost narrowly in the U14s final. Aaron Hall of Kilspindie, led the qualifiers with a superb 67. Results here. Well done Boys! Not to be outdone, Jack McDonald of Haddington GC, has finished top of the Lothians Boys Order of Merit.
