Probably due to fixture clashes, 5 Clubs were unable to field Teams in this event, but even Players in Teams which were short of the minimum of 3 players could still win individual prizes. The format was the best 3 out of 4 scores for both the Scratch and Handicap Prizes, but teams could only win one prize. The trophy is awarded to the best aggregate Scratch score. The winning Longniddry Team only had 3 Players, Neil Canavan, Daniels Moos and Scott Porteous all played well to record a Scratch total of 238, six strokes ahead of the Haddington Team comprising Murray Bowsher, Ben Austin, Adam Nichol and Adam Macdonald. So Longniddry were awarded the Trophy and the associated prizes. Haddington led the Net category with 224. The West Links Team comprising Ryan Killorn, Sebastien Harvey, Harris Munro and Jack Collingswood were runners-up in the Net category with a score of 226. The individual Scratch winner was Neil Canavan with a 74. There were two Net sections, + to 8, and 9-36 and both sections were won with Net 70s, by Ryan Killorn (7) and Daniel Moos (11). The best Girl’s score was a Net 71 by Charlotte Bauld. See the list of vouchers below. Unclaimed vouchers will be distributed to Players at the next events. Scores have now been posted onto WHS, and a list of Team scores etc can be seen below the photo of the Longniddry Team Captain Neil Canavan and Secretary Dave Warren.
