The CSSs were 35 points for Boys and 38 points for Girls. The turnout was 69, the highest ever, and included 4 Players from the home Club Musselburgh, and 2 Players from Royal Musselburgh. Both Clubs intend to rejoin the League next year. Craigielaw had already won the League but still achieved a 3rd place. They were in the top 3 at every MD except one. This was a hugely consistent performance so congratulations go to Gordon Smith and the 12 Players who played in their Team this season. Haddington, with only 5 Players, had their 2nd win of the season, and won by 5 points. The race for 2nd place was tight, with West Links just holding off Kilspindie by 2 points. So both Craigielaw and West Links will contest for the Scottish Junior Team Championships at Kilmarnock on the 29th September. The East Lothian Girls held their Autumn meeting in conjunction with this MD. Lucy Thomas with 42 points was the winner on count-back from Maddy Chapman. The best scratch score was by Abby Nisbet with 24 points, narrowly beating Annie Wilson who had 23 points. Lucy and Maddy also had the best Net scores of 42 points in the MD. Joseph Cookson had 34 scratch points. Callum Waugh had 32 scratch points. All 4 of them win 3 ELJGL Pro V1 balls. The OOM results will be published later. The League table has been updated and can be seen on our home page. Many thanks to Musselburgh GC and to all who helped today, David Noon, Musselburgh’s 2 new Convenors Simon Stone and Jim Wilkinson, Jenni Ray, Shona Paton, Dave Parker and a special thanks are due to Irene Gray who processed all the scoring.
Remember to enter our re-scheduled Championships, now at The Glen on Tuesday the 15th October. – Check with Dave Warren if you wish to play in that.

NOTE – in the attached scoresheet, there is a correction to Castle Park’s 2nd score which had been posted as a 34 but a check reveals it was only 32. This moved them down one spot from 4th to 5th on the day.
