MD4 at Haddington has been completed and all Players’ scores have been uploaded into the World Handicap System, so all 55 Players’ handicaps were updated at midnight on Sunday. Haddington utilised their home advantage to amass 171 points with Team newcomer Frankie Moore scoring an amazing 54 Stableford points! The newly merged Gullane Team showed they will be a force for the rest of the season by finishing in second spot with 158 points. Fergus Brown, playing for Gullane, had an excellent gross 68, thee under par, for 39 points. The updated League Table can be seen on this website. East Lothian Girls moved back to the top the League, just ahead of West Links and Craigielaw. East Lothian Ladies ran their girls’ Spring Meeting in conjunction with this Match Day, and Evie McCallum was top scorer gross with an 82. Louise Martin won the net prize with a 71, one stroke ahead of Lucy Thomas. All players can see the full Leaderboards for both Scratch and Handicap competitions on the Golf Genius App – go to ELJGL MD4 at Haddington and click on “Leaderboard.” The Orders of Merit have been recalculated with MD4 scores, and these will be on display at the next MD. Hayden Fowler is leading both Scratch and Handicap at the moment! Sorry Hayden, you can only win one OOM, and the Scratch OOM takes primacy.
