OOM Final Positions 2019

The OOM winners with the best 6 from 10 possible MD scores can be seen on the Tables below. In the Scratch, Joseph Cookson romped in with a 4th straight win, and after only playing in 6 MDs,  Joseph lifted the trophy. Photo below. Alexander Yuill, although on holiday abroad on the day of the final MD, still held off all challengers to lift the Handicap Trophy. Remember that the points are for finishing positions, so Joseph finished 1st four times, 2nd once and 7th once – a total of 13. The full list of winners were:-
SCRATCH – See below. Joseph Cookson 13 points, (£100) Harry Bent 33, (£60) Euan Canavan 44, (£35) and Fergus Brown, (also without playing at the final MD.) The best Scratch by a Girl was Natalie Fowler. The best U14 Scratch was Callum Kenneally and the U12 Scratch was won by Kiron Gribble.
HANDICAP – See below. (Vouchers as above) – Alexander Yuill won with 39 points, by 8 from Harry Dunkinson in 2nd place. Max Blair was 3rd and Ryan Yuill was 4th, narrowly beating Jack Collingswood and Adam Nichol for that 4th place.  The best Handicap by a Girl was Lucy Thomas. The best U14 Handicap was Jack Collingswood by only 1 point from Adam Nichol, so they will both get a prize. The U12 was won by Kiron Gribble but as he already won the Scratch prize, Cameron Mukherjee receives that prize. Contact the Secretary t receive your prize if you were not at the Prize-giving.
Thanks to all the Players for supporting the League this season – there were 133 Players in total, including our highest ever number of 22 Girls! Three other new Players only played in the Team Strokeplay.
