County/Friendly Matches 2018

In 2018, we have matches against a visiting Team of Juniors from Florida. Dates TBC.

In 2017 – At the instigation of Valdemar’s Dad, Soren Hundeboll, East Lothian received a visit from a Teams of 7 Boys from North Florida in July 2017.  All the Boys competed in Junior Opens at Gullane, Kilspindie and North Berwick, and in a match vs. Longniddry at Longniddry. Then combined with Boys from Longniddry they also took part in a match vs. a Team selected from the Order of Merit in the ELJGLeague. The League is very grateful to the The Renaissance Club who offered their course for this match on the Sunday 23rd July. The League won a close match by 4-2. For full results click here. A big thanks to all at The Renaissance Club for hosting us for a BBQ after the match. And thanks are due also to Jack Aschenback and Soren for combining their Teams to ensure a competitive game was played in the right spirit! Hopefully a long term association with Juniors from Florida will follow. The Photos can be seen as a slideshow below if you click on the first photo. If you hover a mouse cursor on the photo, names and descriptions will appear after a second or two. The photos change every 10 seconds but will change faster if you click on the image.

In 2017, we had planned to play against Edinburgh and other Lothians Junior Leagues if possible, but this is proving hard to arrange.
